    What is Canine Parvovirus?
    Canine parvovirus (CPV) is a highly contagious viral disease that can produce a life-threatening illness. The virus attacks rapidly dividing cells in a dog’s body, most severely affecting the intestinal tract. Parvovirus also attacks the white blood cells, and when young animals are infected, the virus can damage the heart muscle and cause lifelong cardiac problems. infection is a highly contagious viral illness that affects dogs.     [Intended use]

    Canine parvovirus antibody test strip (CPV Ab) is a rapid test strip developed based on immunochromatographic colloidal gold technology for the rapid detection of antibodies to canine parvovirus in dog blood.

    [sample processing]

    1. Samples should be treated as follows Serum or plasma: whole blood samples of sick dogs were collected, and serum or plasma was precipitated after standing or centrifuged for standby.

    2. All samples shall be ready for testing or, if not ready for testing, stored refrigerated (2-8 ℃). Refrigerated samples need to be restored to 15 ℃–25 ℃ before they can be used for testing.

    [operation steps]

    1.  Take a piece of aluminum foil bag and open, take out the test card, and place it horizontally on the operation plane (do not pick up from the plane until the test is completed). 
    2. Suck the sample solution to be tested into the pipette and press 3 drops into the well "S" and start the timer. 
    3. The test results will be interpreted within 5 minutes and the interpretation will be completed within 10 minutes. Any in erpretation after 10 minutes is deemed invalid.

    [Result judgment]

    -Positive (+): The presence of both “C” line and zone “T” line, no matter T line is clear or vague.

    -Negative (-): Only clear C line appear. No T line.

    -Invalid: No colored line appears in C zone. No matter if T line appears.
    [Precautions]

    1. Please use the test card within the guarantee period and within one hour after opening:
    2. When testing to avoid direct sunlight and electric fan blowing;
    3. Try not to touch the white film surface in the center of the detection card;
    4. Sample dropper cannot be mixed, so as to avoid cross contamination;
    5. Do not use sample diluent that is not supplied with this reagent;
    6. After the use of detection card should be regarded as microbial dangerous goods processing;
    [Application limitations]
    This product is an immunological diagnostic kit and is only used to provide qualitative test results for clinical detection of pet diseases. If there is any doubt about the test results, please use other diagnostic methods (such as PCR, pathogen isolation test, etc.) to make further analysis and diagnosis of the detected samples.
