Feline herpesvirus(FHV) Antigen is a rapid test cassette developed based on immunochromatographic colloidal gold technology for the rapid detection of antigen to feline herpesvirus(FHV) virus in cat conjunctival fornix and eye mucus fluid .
[operation steps]
- Remove all samples from the test cassette 15-30 minutes before testing and bring to room temperature.
- Take a portion of the sample using the sterile swab.
- Place the swab sample in the test tube, then rotate the head at least 6 times, pressing against the bottom and sides of the test tube.
- While removing the head of the rod, roll it towards the inside of the tube. Dispose of used swab in biohazard waste.
- Load 3-4 drops of the disposable dropper solution into the sample chamber.
- Interpret the test result within 5-10 minutes. Do not read the result after 10 minutes
[Result judgment]
-Positive (+): The presence of both “C” line and zone “T” line, no matter T line is clear or vague.
-Negative (-): Only clear C line appear. No T line.

[Application limitations]
This product is an immunological diagnostic kit and is only used to provide qualitative test results for clinical detection of pet diseases. If there is any doubt about the test results, please use other diagnostic methods (such as PCR, pathogen isolation test, etc.) to make further analysis and diagnosis of the detected samples. Consult your local veterinarian for pathological analysis.
[Storage and expiration]
This product should be stored at 2℃–40℃ in a cool, dry place away from light and not frozen; Valid for 24 months.
