[Intended use]
Toxoplasma antibody test strip (TOXO Ab) is a rapid test strip developed based on immunochromatographic colloidal gold technology for the rapid detection of Toxoplasma IgG/IgM antibodies in cat serum and plasma samples.
[Sample processing]
1. The sample processing method is as follows: Whole blood samples of sick cats were collected, and serum was precipitated or placed in anticoagulant tubes and then centrifuged for plasma isolation Ascites or hydrothorax from diseased cats was collected and tested directly in the laboratory using dipstick. If the test cannot be conducted immediately, the samples should be stored at 2–8 ℃.
2. All samples shall be ready for testing or, if not ready for testing, stored refrigerated (2-8 ℃). Refrigerated samples need to be restored to 15 C–25 ℃ before they can be used for testing.
[Use Steps]
Please read the operating instructions carefully before testing, and restore the test card and the sample to be tested to room temperature of 15–25℃.
1. Take out a piece of aluminum foil bag and open, take out the test card, and place it horizontally on the operation platform (do not pick up from the platform until the test is completed).
2. Using a disposable dropper, squeeze 1 drop of the prepared sample to the S-well of the test card, and immediately squeeze
3. 2 drops of buffer to the S-well and start counting.The test results will be interpreted within about 3.5 minutes and the interpretation will be completed within 10 minutes. Any interpretation after 10 minutes is invalid.
[Result judgment]
* Positive (+): The wine red bands of control line C and detection line T indicated that the sample contained foot-and- mouth disease type A antibody.
* Negative (-): No color developed on the test T-ray, indicating that the sample did not contain foot-and-mouth disease type A antibody.
* Invalid: No QC Line C or Whiteboard present indicating incorrect procedure or invalid card. Please retest.
[Precautions]
1. Please use the test card within the guarantee period and within one hour after opening:
2. When testing to avoid direct sunlight and electric fan blowing;
3. Try not to touch the white film surface in the center of the detection card;
4. Sample dropper cannot be mixed, so as to avoid cross contamination;
5. Do not use sample diluent that is not supplied with this reagent;
6. After the use of detection card should be regarded as microbial dangerous goods processing;
[Application limitations]
This product is an immunological diagnostic kit and is only used to provide qualitative test results for clinical detection of pet diseases. If there is any doubt about the test results, please use other diagnostic methods (such as PCR, pathogen isolation test, etc.) to make further analysis and diagnosis of the detected samples. Consult your local veterinarian for pathological analysis.
[Storage and expiration]
This product should be stored at 2℃–40℃ in a cool, dry place away from light and not frozen; Valid for 24 months.
