    What is Canine Parvovirus?
    Canine parvovirus (CPV) is a highly contagious viral disease that can produce a life-threatening illness. The virus attacks rapidly dividing cells in a dog’s body, most severely affecting the intestinal tract. Parvovirus also attacks the white blood cells, and when young animals are infected, the virus can damage the heart muscle and cause lifelong cardiac problems. infection is a highly contagious viral illness that affects dogs. The majority of cases are seen in puppies that are between six weeks and six months old.

    What are the symptoms of Canine Parvovirus?

    Parvovirus is extremely contagious and can be transmitted by any person, animal or object that comes in contact with an infected dog’s faeces. It is common for an unvaccinated dog to contract parvovirus from the streets, especially in urban areas where there are many dogs.

    [Intended use]

    The Canine CPV And CCV Combo Test Kit  is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of  Canine Parvovirus virus antigen ( CPV Ag) and Canine Coronavirus virus ( CCV Ag) in secretions from dog’s faeces and vomit

    [Usage]

    Read the IFU completely before testing, allow the test device and specimens to equilibrate to room temperature (15~25) prior to testing.

    Method : 

    Use the enclosed cotton swab to obtain a faecal or vomit sample, mix it with the test solution and then add 3 drops to the test cassette. You will then be able to read the results after 5 minutes. 

     

    [Result judgment]

    -Positive (+): The presence of both “C” line and zone “T” line, no matter T line is clear or vague.

    -Negative (-): Only clear C line appear. No T line.

    -Invalid: No colored line appears in C zone. No matter if T line appears.
    [Precautions]

    1. Please use the test card within the guarantee period and within one hour after opening:
    2. When testing to avoid direct sunlight and electric fan blowing;
    3. Try not to touch the white film surface in the center of the detection card;
    4. Sample dropper cannot be mixed, so as to avoid cross contamination;
    5. Do not use sample diluent that is not supplied with this reagent;
    6. After the use of detection card should be regarded as microbial dangerous goods processing;

    This product is an immunological diagnostic kit and is only used to provide qualitative test results for clinical detection of pet diseases. If there is any doubt about the test results, please use other diagnostic methods (such as PCR, pathogen isolation test, etc.) to make further analysis and diagnosis of the detected samples. Consult your local veterinarian for pathological analysis.
